Honorable Founder Chairman, Kallappanna Awade (Dada)
He is the Founder Chairman of Janata Bank. He was working as Chairman from 07.02.1963 to 04.11.1976. During his Chairmanship, he contributed worth towards the bank. Through his untiring efforts and constant encouragement, Janata Bank has become one of the largest Scheduled Co-op. Bank in Maharashtra State and today enjoy a place of Pride as “Kallappanna Awade Ichalkaranji Janata Bank”. In accelerating the pace of banking growth and development, he is the moving spirit and fountain of inspiration.

Late. Shankarrao Ramchandra Hupare
From 05.11.1976 to 03.11.1985, the responsibility of Janata Bank was on his shoulder being an enthusiastcs & dynamic person . In fact he was disuple of Late Narayan Babasaheb Ghorpade, gave commendable contribution towards banking development and overall progress of Ichalkaranji and whole revenue state of Maharashtra.
Shri Bhupal Balwant Kagawade
After Shri Hupare, all the responsibility of the bank had been handed over to him. He has worked as a Chairman of the Bank from 23.11.1985 to 05.09.1995 and again he was elected during the period 30.08.2005 to 09.03.2008. Due to his fast decision making, powerful management and positive attitude towards employees and bank progress, he had played a pivotal role during his services to upgrade the bank.
Shri Darrayappa Gurupadppa Kore
He was Chairman of the Bank from 06.09.1995 to 08.02.1998. During his tenure, his contribution towards the bank was commendable.
Dr Shri. Ashok Balkrishna Soundattikar
He has worked as Chairman from 09.02.1998 to 29.08.2005. Again he has been elected as Chairman from 10.03.2008 onwards & is handling the management of Janata Bank successfully and effectively. His contribution towards the Bank is really commendable and up to mark. He is well known as a veteran banker in Co-operative Banking. His continuous effort in upliftment of poor and women folks through “Micro Finance”” is commendable work. His strive and efforts in implementation of latest technology is basically responsible for banks overall growth.
Shri Prakash Awade
Shri Prakash Awade elected as a Chairman of Kallappanna Awade Ichalkaranji Janata Sahakari Bank Ltd On 26th Feb 2018. He is very well known and respected figure. He has taken multitude of efforts to promote the textile industry. As a Minister of Textile, recommended to the State Government and announced 23-Point Rejuvenation Scheme for textila industry, which uplifted the industry passing through crises.Low rate Electricity, interest subsidy, 50% exemptionfor overdue loans gave major relief to powerloom industry.Made ardent efforts to diversity the conventional powerloom industry into value added industries like garment making and hosiery. His dream to transform the textile town into hi-tech city has come true in the wake of globalization. Because of his sustained efforts the textile town of Ichalkaranji is being briskly transformed into automization and is known as the biggest centre of shuttleless looms in the country. An ambitious project of textile park & industrial estate is being establisged on 200 acres of land which will be known as hub of modern textile activities such as technical textile, garment and other high-end textile products.
